Honest. That is the question I got from a creatives firm today. Apparently they are creating some publicity for the 2008 Olympics and they needed to know about what kind of gear BMXers wear when they race. I asked the person who called me if she knew what BMX was. Not surprisingly, her answer was no. Strange is it not? First of all, research can be done on the web. Secondly, if you do not know what BMX stands for and yet you are creating something for the Olympics on BMX, that speaks volumes about ignorance. Oh well. I kind of expected it. And for the uninformed, BMX stands either for Bears Make Xylophones or Bicycle Motocross. I think it is the latter.
