Take a very good look at this bike. Sad to say, this will be the shape of things to come in BMX as the stakes get higher and people are choosing whatever necessary to win in BMX. All of a sudden, BMX has lost its fun way of life. It is now competition, money and recognition. We have come a long way from the Schwinn Stingray days and we have now embraced carbon fibre, clipless pedals and even *shudder* aluminium cranks. Do not get me wrong. I am all for advancement but paying more for parts that will not last? Something went wrong somewhere. This pic is a picture I got of the Internet. It says Prototype. I hope that it remains a prototype and not go into mass production but I must say that the chances are pretty slim. It is sad indeed.
