For a time, these were one of the best hubs to have on your bike when racing. Mighty Stu Thomsen used to have them on his PL-20 back in the day and I can safely say that many a professional BMX rider used them back in the day. I am talking about the Suntour Superbe Pro hubs and as you can see in the picture above, they looked good and were tough! I used to drool over these hubs while as a kid but on a limited budget, I could not really afford them. I did however have a pair of Suntour sealed bearing hubs so that was as close as I got!
