Singapore old-school BMX meetup on 22nd November

That is today my friends. We will be meeting up at the Bukit Batok Skatepark, our usual meeting place. Please check out the forum post here as it will give more information on our gathering. As usual, we hope to see old schoolers as well as new schoolers there just so that we can talk BMX about the past present and future. Trust me, you will get more than an education on BMX at these gatherings.

Well, so far has the new VP of BMX delivered?

Maybe it is still early so maybe it may not be fair to take them up to task but it is coming up to the end of the year and there is still no news about races for next year. I am starting to wonder if the new-school BMXers are capable of running the show for BMX in Singapore. It is 2009 next year...one more year towards the Youth Olympics. Nothing seems to have been planned and it looks even more that these people are in for the glory and not the responsibility. If they were in for the responsibility, they would have gotten involved ages ago.
